Flegler Group has been focusing on bearing quality fruit in a safe and green-friendly environment for three generations.
Owners Cameron and Warwick Flegler are banana and sugarcane producers who pride themselves on their family’s well-established history and look forward to a growing industry in which the Flegler Group can flourish.
THE JOURNEY
Despite producing bananas for Australians since 1947 Flegler Group were without a web presence until approaching Webedge in 2022.
The key goal of the brief was to create a website that not only showcased the produce, but also the area in which they grow. The site was to have a strong theme of family to promote the fact they are a family owned and run business and have been for almost 75 years. We utilised strong photography and video to emphasise this.
The target audiences of the site were both commercial B2B and also potential employees in the region. The main focus of the build was to create a simple, user-friendly careers portal with a job board and an easy application process.
The site was built on WordPress with a clean and simple layout and uses a page builder to enable the client to update and maintain the site as they wish. The WP Job Manager plugin on the site allows Flegler Group to maintain their own job listings with ease.
