THE BRIEF & OUTCOME

The client approached Webedge to design and build a sophisticated, user‑centric website that clearly articulates COE‑CIT’s mission: to facilitate early‑access, practice‑changing cellular immunotherapy treatments (e.g., CAR‑T) for people with cancer in Australia. The site needed to position COE‑CIT as a credible, cutting‑edge partner for research institutes, biotech companies and stakeholders in regulatory/manufacturing networks, whilst showcasing capabilities, inviting project applications, and building trust for commercialisation and trial‑development partnerships.

The new website for COE‑CIT successfully delivers a high‑integrity digital platform that reflects the organisation’s ambition, scientific credibility and collaborative model. Visitors are greeted by a clear mission statement: accelerating translational cell‑based therapies into early‑phase clinical trials.

Visually, the site uses research‑appropriate imagery of labs, manufacturing cleanrooms and collaborative science environments to support trust and professionalism. The “Express Your Interest” CTA is prominent throughout, making it simple for potential collaborators to initiate engagement. The CMS allows COE‑CIT to publish news, resources and calls for proposals independently, enabling agility in communication.

From a strategic standpoint, the website positions COE‑CIT as a national leader in cellular immunotherapy translation, with a clear line to commercialisation and early‑phase trials. It supports their objective of partnering with Australian researchers and biotech firms to develop globally competitive therapies. With responsive design, good technical foundations and content that speaks to multiple stakeholder groups (academia, industry, clinical), the website is well‑positioned to drive increased partner engagement, amplify COE‑CIT’s reach and support their role as a bridge between discovery and clinical application.
