ABOUT THE CLIENT
The Australian Multicultural Women’s Alliance works collaboratively with community groups, government, and civil society to design policies and initiatives that support migrant, refugee, and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) women.

THE BRIEF & OUTCOME
The new AMWA website, built in 2025 by Webedge, successfully delivers a clear and vibrant digital home for the organisation. It opens with a powerful visual and headline (“Every voice matters. Every woman thrives.”) that instantly conveys the mission. The architecture supports intuitive navigation through About, Work, People, Members, Policy & Advocacy and Contact sections, ensuring visitors can easily explore content and engage.
Diverse imagery across the site authentically represents multicultural women and reinforces AMWA’s inclusive positioning. Membership and “Get Involved” CTAs are prominently placed, guiding users towards meaningful action. The mobile‑first design ensures a seamless experience across devices, and the CMS allows AMWA staff to maintain and update the site independently.
From a strategic perspective, the site positions AMWA as a credible, modern, and community‑rooted alliance. It amplifies their advocacy, supports stakeholder engagement and creates a platform for growth in membership and visibility. With optimised performance and accessibility considered, the site is well‑poised to support AMWA’s mission of advancing gender equity and inclusion for multicultural women nationwide.
”Webedge listened carefully to our brief and took our designs and impactful visuals, translating them into our website — and absolutely nailed it. Their professionalism is first-class, and their expertise in design elements (layout, typography, imagery, user flow) really shines through.
